So, as I posted earlier, I stumbled across a list of the 20th century's top one hundred works of fiction as chosen by a Random House affiliate. I decided it might be worthwhile to try and tackle it. It took me a while to actually get started, as I am the type of person who accumulates a "to read" pile, but, I am glad to report that I am well on my way. My experience with the canon of the 20th century has, so far, been amazing. I find myslef particularly spellbound by Mr. John Steinbeck. So, after finishing Of Mice and Men, I decided to take on the American classic The Grapes of Wrath. I can't wait!
On a separate note, how beautifully designed are the books in Penguin's Modern Classic series?
