I recently joined a book club (name yet to be decided) and I am pretty excited about it. Our very first read is a book by home-grown author, Linden MacInyre. The story is told by a middle-aged Catholic priest, nicknamed "The Exorcist" by his peers for his role in covering up, or dealing with potential scandals in the Church. He is confronted with his own personal demons while trying to withstand the isolation of rural Nova Scotia and the trappings of his own mind....so far, it's pretty good!
